A British radio station was almost destroyed when a chef accidentally started a fire in the studio.
Michelin-starred cook Richard Corrigan - who is well known for his up-market London restaurant, Corrigan's - appeared on Absolute Radio to cook a traditional Irish breakfast but caused havoc when the black and white puddings caught fire while he was live on air.
The fire brigade was called and staff evacuated from the building but the on-air team managed to carry on broadcasting despite the wails of the engines outside and the alarms going off within the building.
