Brand New Monsters University Trailer

We now don’t have long to wait until Mike Wazowski and James P. Sullivan return to the big screen in Monsters University.

Fans of Monsters Inc have had to wait over a decade to see finally see this movie and it looks like it is going to be loads of fun.

And we have the fantastic new trailer for the movie featuring movie from band Swedish House Mafia.

Dan Scanlon is in the director’s chair this time around while it is great to see Billy Crystal and John Goodman back as Mike and Sulley.

As with all animation movies these days another fantastic voice cast has been assembled as Helen Mirren, Steve Buscemi, John Krasinski, Nathan Fillion and Alfred Molina are all on board.

Ever since college-bound Mike Wazowski (Crystal) was a little monster, he has dreamed of becoming a Scarer… and he knows better than anyone that the best scarers come from Monsters University (MU).

But during his first semester at MU, Mike’s plans are derailed when he crosses paths with hotshot James P. Sullivan, ‘Sulley’ (Goodman), a natural-born Scarer.

The pair’s out-of-control competitive spirit gets them both kicked out of the University’s elite Scare Program.

To make matters worse, they realize they will have to work together, along with an odd bunch of misfit monsters, if they ever hope to make things right.

Monsters University is released 12th July.

Monsters University New Pics

Monsters, Inc remains my favourite Pixar movie ever and I have to admit that I was a little nervous when I heard that they were making a second film.

I was even more worried when it was revealed that it was going to a prequel rather than a sequel but the movie I see of the film the more I am looking forward to it – and let’s face it no summer is complete without a Pixar film to enjoy.

Brave Spoof Trailer

Brave is set to be one of the must see animation movies of 2012 as Pixar return with the first original story in three years.

I have to admit that brave is a movie that I have been looking forward to for about twelve months because it looks completely different to what they have produced before.

And we have a great spoof trailer for the movie for you to take a look at:

Merida is a skilled archer and impetuous daughter of King Fergus (voice of Billy Connolly) and Queen Elinor (voice of Emma Thompson).

Determined to carve her own path in life, Merida defies an age-old custom sacred to the uproarious lords of the land: massive Lord MacGuffin (voice of Kevin McKidd), surly Lord Macintosh (voice of Craig Ferguson) and cantankerous Lord Dingwall (voice of Robbie Coltrane).

Merida’s actions inadvertently unleash chaos and fury in the kingdom, and when she turns to an eccentric old Witch (voice of Julie Walters) for help, she is granted an ill-fated wish.

The ensuing peril forces Merida to discover the meaning of true bravery in order to undo a beastly curse before it’s too late.

Brave is released 22nd June

Brave Character Posters

No summer would be complete without a Pixar movie to enjoy and this year the animation giants bring us an original story in the form of Brave.

Now I don’t know about you but I am a huge Pixar fan and am always excited about their latest release – Brave in particular as we have heard bits and pieces about this movie for the last twelve months.

And we have two new character posters for you to take a look at as we introduce you to Merida and Angus.

Passionate and fiery, Merida is a headstrong teenager of royal upbringing who is struggling to take control of her own destiny. She feels most at home in the outdoors honing her impressive athletic skills as an archer and swordfighter, and racing across the magnificent Highland countryside with her faithful horse, Angus.

With a spirit as vibrant as her untamed hair, Merida also has a softness of heart, especially when it comes to her wee triplet brothers.

As the daughter of the King and Queen, her life is weighted with responsibilities and expectations, causing her to yearn to preserve her freedom and independence.

When Merida blatantly defies an ancient tradition, the consequences of her actions prove disastrous for the kingdom. She must race against time to make right the result of her reckless behavior, her journey compelling her to look inside to discover the meaning of bravery and reveal her true fate.

Black as night with ivory muzzle and fetlocks, Angus is Merida’s powerful Clydesdale and her most trusted confidant.

Angus is Merida’s escape from castle life into the deep forest and the highlands beyond. Merida target shoots from her perch on his broad back and is able to coax him into one adventure after another.

Angus can be balky, stubborn and faint-hearted at times, but is ultimately a devoted and faithful friend to Merida.

Brave is released 17th August.

Brave Teaser Trailer

Pixar movies are always the big event of any movie year and we are already looking forward to the 2012 project Brave.

Yes Cars 2 hasn’t hit the big screen yet and we are already getting excited over a future project.

The impetuous, tangle-haired Merida, though a daughter of royalty, would prefer to make her mark as a great archer.

A clash of wills with her mother compels Merida to make a reckless choice, which unleashes unintended peril on her father’s kingdom and her mother’s life.

Merida struggles with the unpredictable forces of nature, magic and a dark, ancient curse to set things right.

Brave is released next summer. Take a look at the teaser trailer for the movie:
