We are huge fans of Pixar here at FemaleFirst, and Inside Out is set to hit the big screen later this year.
Inside Out is the first Pixar film to hit the big screen since Monsters University and will be unlike any Pixar movie that we have seen before – it is told from the perspective of the emotions in a little girl’s mind.
Empire have released a brand new image from the film, and we have it for you to take a look at:
Pete Docter is back in the director’s chair for the film, while Diane Lane, Amy Poehler, Bill Hader, and Kyle MacLachlan are just some of the actors that have lent their voices to the film.
Growing up can be a bumpy road, and it’s no exception for Riley, who is uprooted from her Midwest life when her father starts a new job in San Francisco. Like all of us, Riley is guided by her emotions – Joy (Poehler), Fear (Hader), Anger (Black), Disgust (Kaling) and Sadness (Smith).
The emotions live in Headquarters, the control centre inside Riley’s mind, where they help advise her through everyday life. As Riley and her emotions struggle to adjust to a new life in San Francisco, turmoil ensues in Headquarters.
Although Joy, Riley’s main and most important emotion, tries to keep things positive, the emotions conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house and school.
Inside Out is released 24th July.
