The British character actor Tom Baker, best known as the fourth incarnation of The Doctor, was born in 1934 in Liverpool, England. Baker acted in repertory theaters around Britain until the late 1960s when he joined up with the National Theatre, where he performed with such respected actors as Maggie Smith, Anthony Hopkins and Laurence Olivier. He appeared in many major films in the 1970s.
When Baker landed the role of Doctor Who, it brought him international fame and popularity. After his seven-year stint as Dr. Who from 1974 to 1981, Baker returned to theatre and made occasional television and film appearances. Throughout his career, Baker's acting style has been to portray his characters with a "larger-than-life" air.
As well as Tom Baker attending, there is no shortage of other stars who have appeared in Dr Who over the years including Bella Emberg, Andrew Hayden-Smith, Sarah Sutton, Nicola Bryant and the voice behind the Daleks and Cybermen, Nicholas Briggs.
We are also delighted to welcome Ian Ogilvy from Return of the Saint and the "voice" behind many of Gerry Andersons productions Shane Rimmer.
We promise no clones when it comes to Star Wars with an exciting line up of actors who played pivotal roles in the films including Jeremy Bulloch, Daniel Logan and Darth Vadar himself Dave Prowse.
And finally, we have Jeff Wayne, composer of War of the Worlds, who will be at the show for both days to meet up with and sign autographs.
