Jack Black "enjoyed" eating excrement.

The actor also had to drink urine for scenes in 'Year One' and says he relished the opportunity to consume human waste.

He said: "I eat poo. You ever see one of those shows like 'Fear Factor'? I mean they do some weird stuff, but nothing like eating s**t. It's one of the most scary things you can do. But I enjoyed eating that turd.

"We did it in a very short amount of time too. It was gonna rain, and they were like, 'We gotta get this in five minutes.' And what did we get? Film history.

"We drink pee too. I've actually heard there's some medicinal value to drinking your own pee. I heard it's also good for the foot fungus if you pee in the shower. A friend of mine had a jellyfish sting. I peed on him and he felt a lot better."

Jack also had to don a costume made from skunk fur for his role as a caveman in the biblical comedy and says he loved wearing the "stinky" skin.

He added: "I loved wearing a stinky skunk pelt, which is the only animal my character was capable of hunting down. Everyone else had like bear hides and wolf skins. I was happy with skunk."
