Kristen Stewart is to star in a sequel to Twilight despite the film not having even been released in the UK yet.
The actress, who plays the film’s heroine Bella in the adaptation of Stephanie Myer’s popular novels has been dropping major hints that some of the new film will be shot in Italy.
The vampire movie has stormed to the top of the US box office in it's opening weekend grossing over $70 million and is the fourth largest November opening of all time, it was only expected to gross $50 million.
She told Ryan Seacrest ‘A lot of the book takes place in Italy, and I think we're going to get to go to Italy, which is so cool. "For a while there, they were like, 'oh, we don't know if we have the money', but now I think we may have the money!"
The film, which will launch the careers of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, follows a young girl who falls in love with a vampire.
Director Catherine Hardwicke and the cast members have signed up to return for the sequel, which follows Kristen's human character Bella and her vampire lover Edward, played by Robert, separated because of circumstances and Edward's self-doubt.
Twilight is released in the UK 19th December
