Mia Wasikowska is set to play Madam Bovary in a movie adaptation of Gustave Flaubert's novel.
The Alice In Wonderland is set to play Emma Bovary alongside Paul Giamatti while Sophie Barthes is in the director's chair.
Wasikowska has mixed ad matched her roles of late from the fantasy of Alice In Wonderland to a period piece with Jane Eyre.
She will be back on the big screen later this month as she teams up with Glenn Close and Aaron Johnson in Albert Nobbs.
She is also set to star in The Wettest County with Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy.
The Madam Bovary project is not the only movie that she has in the pipeline as The Double is also in pre-production.
