Seann William Scott has described the character of Stifler as a character who hasn't grown up and is still living in a 'high school world'.
The actor is set to reprise the character once more as American Pie: Reunion hits the big screen next month.
In a video interview Scott went on to say that everyone can relate to the ten year reunion when you meet with people at school to see how everyone's lives have turned out.
This is the first American Pie movie in almost a decade and Scott will be reunited with Jason Biggs, Alyson Hannigan and Chris Klein.
It has already been a buy year for the actor starring in Goon and he will be back this summer, his voice will at least, with Ice Age: Continental Drift.
He has also completed work on an untitled project that also stars Elizabeth Banks and Kate Winslet.
American Pie: Reunion is released 2nd May
