Catherine Zeta Jones says that she enjoyed getting back into shape for her new movie Rock of Ages and she just threw herself in.
The actress is back on the big screen next week as she teams up with Julianne Hough, Tom Cruise and Russell Brand for the new musical.
Speaking to Daybreak the actress said: "I had to get my butt in gear and get back into shape in a very short period of time.
"I did A Little Night Music on Broadway and I had to waltz [but] I hadn't done a high kick since Chicago.
"I went straight in, and I was like 'Come on, get in, do it and get out'," she continued. "And that's what I did, and I had so much fun."
Rock of Ages is directed by Adam Shankman and it is him first movie since Bedtime Stories and comes five years after the huge success of Hairspray.
Zeta-Jones has also been busy as we will be seeing her in Playing The Field and Broken City and she is currently filming The Bitter Pill.
The Bitter Pill reunites her with Steven Soderbergh and sees her team up with Channing Tatum and Rooney Mara.
Rock Of Ages is released 13th June.
