Performance set for the Critics' Choice Awards.
Maroon 5 are teaming up with R&B star Keri Hilson for a special performance at the 2011 Critics' Choice Awards to pay tribute to revered director Quentin Tarantino.
The filmmaker is set to be feted with the inaugural Critics' Choice Music & Film Award in recognition of his ability to enhance his cinematic storytelling with the use of a movie's soundtrack in projects such as Reservoir Dogs, Kill Bill and Inglourious Basterds.
Maroon 5 will cover some of the songs from Tarantino's most iconic works and they will be joined by Hilson for a rendition of Son of A Preacher Man, the track made famous by Dusty Springfield in 1968 and featured in the director's 1994 crime classic Pulp Fiction.
Darren Aronofsky's ballet drama Black Swan looks set to dominate the 16th annual Critics' Choice Awards after garnering a record 12 nominations, including Best Actress for Natalie Portman.
The winners will be unveiled at the Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles on Friday and will be broadcast live on America's VH1 network.
