Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria has named her new daughter Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary.
Victoria and her husband Prince Daniel welcomed their daughter into the world at the Karolinska University Hospital in Solna, Stockholm yesterday (23.02.12) and now her moniker has been announced.
The tot will also be known as the Duchess of Östergötland, King Carl XVI Gustaf has revealed.
He added: "I am sure that the Duchess will do her best to embrace the county of Östergötland."
The king has been to see his granddaughter and said she is very "cute".
He told reporters: "The family was there visiting and we had a nice time together. She was very cute and did all the right things. It was a happy moment for the whole family."
Following Estelle's birth, Daniel spoke of his joy at becoming a father for the first time.
He said: "When I left the room the little princess was sleeping on her mother's chest and they were looking very cosy.
"The little daughter and the crown princess are doing very well."
The prince admitted he was "pretty nervous" during the birth and had cut the baby's umbilical cord.
Victoria and Daniel - the princess' former personal trainer - married in June 2010.
