Sweden's Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel have thanked well-wishers for their messages of congratulations following the birth of their baby.
The royal couple welcomed little Princess Estelle into the world last Thursday (23.02.12) and are overwhelmed with the support they have received.
They wrote in a statement published on the Swedish royal family's website: "A warm thank you for all the friendly greetings and congratulations we've received on Princess Estelle's birth. We truly appreciate your support and that so many share our joy."
Following Estelle's birth, it was revealed on Friday (24.02.12) that her name would be Estelle Silvia Ewa Mary and she would also have the title Duchess of Östergötland.
Her grandfather, King Carl XVI Gustaf said: "I am sure that the duchess will do her best to embrace the county of Östergötland."
The king has been to see his granddaughter and said she is very "cute".
He told reporters: "The family was there visiting and we had a nice time together. She was very cute and did all the right things. It was a happy moment for the whole family."
