I feel my life is complete now I own a copy of this timeless classic. I recall in 1995 Mysterious Girl got enormous amount of airplay that it almost drove me to insanity. I wholly blame the broadcasting corporations for this near tragedy as I disagree with there persistence for belting out new tracks of the week continuosly minute after minute so to boost sales. Honestly, I believe this kills music.
Surely true lovers of music, like myself, only have to hear something once to make a fair judgement. "M.G." immediately struck a chord but it was only until an evening in with the Lads, a case o'XXXX and a Chinese takeaway watching SkyMovies that Andre would have a profound effect on my life. While channel surfing we come across "The Box" ( a video music channel). There I recognised a tune that was playing, it was M.G. with pictures. That night we must have seen the vid dozens of times and it inspired a few of the guys and me to join a gym to try and gain the perfect 6 pack. However, six months later when results were beginning to materialise Andre vanished off the face of the earth, so to speak. I was devastated and lost the will to live. I became a recluse and didn't venture outside for a while. Gained five stone and was quite literally a tub of lard.
BUT then I saw the light. Pete & Kate got it together on I'm a Celeb'Get Us Outta Ere and that began the rebirth of his musical career. What a Genius and still got the six pack. She's alright but Andres' innocent & heavenly vocals have once again motivated me to want more out of life. Hallehuja, there's so much love in this Whole New World.
