A brilliant introduction for anybody interested in discovering the early years of KOL. The first three album are all in their original format; exactly the same as purchasing them seperately but for a fraction of the cost (at the time of writing). These disc contain a more edgier sound with the vocals being more adventurous than the ones you'll find on Only By The Night. Aha Shake Heartbreak is their best album to date but I personally think the debut album has their best songs in Happy Alone and Red Morning Light. Because Of The Times becomes a little more darker with Black Thumbnail, My Party and Charmer standing out from the others. Sex On Fire has catapulted them towards world domination and many consider them to be one of the best American bands on the planet to have emerged during the Noughties. But this is how it all started for the band of brothers (one member is in fact a cousin). Great value for money.

I found out Kings of Leon through hearing Sex on Fire/Use Somebody constantly on TV. Then recently I thought I'd try out other songs. These CDS show their great progression and most importantly, I think, their rapid change in music style, opening up your ears to new/different KOL sounds throughout, also showing the bands true talent with variety (at a very reasonable price for their first three albums!)

always been a massive fan of KOL but finally bought the original albums when I saw this set. Its amazing value, when half the time you would spend the same amount on one album and with this you get 3.
