Dimitar Berbatov will be staying at Manchester United as Alex Ferguson told Paris St Germain that he was not for sale.
With the introduction of Javier Hernandez to the United squad last season there were some questions raised as to whether Berbatov would say at the club.
But Paris St Germain's director of football Leonardo was took by the United boss that the player was not for sale.
Speaking to The Sun Leonardo said: "I had Ferguson on the phone but he said he was counting on Berbatov and he was not for sale."
Berbatov joined Manchester United back in 2008 from Tottenham Hotspur, where he had been for two years, costing just over £30 million.
He netted twenty goals for his club last season as he was a regular starter at the beginning of the campaign as Wayne Rooney struggled for fitness.
His goal scoring exploits saw him win the Premier League's Golden Boot along with Manchester United striker Carlos Tevez.
