Bo Bruce, Tyler James, Vince Kidd and Leanne Mitchell have made it through to the final of 'The Voice'.

The quartet were voted through by the public after their performance on Saturday (26.05.12), as only one act from each team was able to go through to the final.

The result came as a shock as it saw competition favourite Ruth Brown lose out in a place in the final to Leanne, but her coach Sir Tom Jones vowed to do all he could to help her succeed as an artist.

He said: "Ruth is a great singer and she's a wonderful person and she will be a star, I will make sure of it. This girl has something special, I'm going to do everything I can possibly do to make her as star."

Despite being upset to lose to Tyler, Jaz Ellington - who was also tipped as a strong contender to take the crown - insisted he had no regrets and felt "grateful" for the work he'd done with mentor will.i.am.

He said: "When I entered the competition I said I came here to learn, I've learned a lot from sir will, and from everyone and I'm so grateful."

Max Milner was gracious in defeat and backed his fellow Team Danny contestant Bo Bruce to win.

He said: "I'd like to say that Bo is incredible and I'm so happy for her, she deserves it. As much as I'm gutted, I'm really happy. I've met such great people, gained notes that I never had and I feel like I've kept my integrity."

Becky Hill was also voted off the contest.

Next week's final will see the four contestants duet with their mentors.
