Britain's Got Talent's live shows may air on a 90-second time delay because of David Walliams.

Show supremo Simon Cowell is said to be worried about his fellow panellist's lewd humour and is said to be considering taking steps to ensure the programme doesn't fall foul of TV watchdogs.

Stephen Mulhern - host of ITV2 spin-off show 'Britain's Got More Talent' - said: "Simon did say he was contemplating having a 90-second delay because of David.

"I'm worried what he'll be like at the live shows - there's no controlling him."

Fellow judge Amanda Holden also admitted she is expecting David to be more "outrageous" than ever when the show goes live.

She said: "What am I looking forward to most? The live shows - and what David is going to say to Simon.

"He was just outrageous and hilarious. I don't know how he gets away with it.

"The live shows can't be stopped, they can't be edited. There will be no going back."

Despite the concerns, Simon insists he loves having "unpredictable" David - who joined the panel along with Alesha Dixon this year - on the show.

He said: "I'm loving the new judging panel. David is totally and utterly bonkers, unpredictable, everything I thought he would be. I like him because he likes people and he's a good judge."
