Lisa Riley will be the first female to lift her partner in 'Strictly Come Dancing'.

The former 'Emmerdale' actress has already lost a stone in a week during training and intends to amaze the audience even more by hoisting her partner Robin Windsor into the air during this weekend's live show.

The pair's routine will be an energetic cha-cha to Aretha Franklin's hit 'Think' and aims to show Lisa's fun side with the surprise ending.

The source added to The Daily Mirror newspaper: "She's bubbly and great fun and viewers are going to see her personality in this routine.

"At the end it looks as though Robin is going to lift her, but instead Lisa grabs him ad pulls him upwards. It's very funny and looks sure to be a vote winner."

Lisa, 36, also wants to show viewers and judge's that she's just as competitive and serious about the competition as the rest of the contestants.

The source added to The Daily Mirror newspaper: "Everyone thought Lisa was the novelty act, but she's anything but.

"She's got rhythm, personality and confidence and the finished product is starting to look fantastic..

"She's lost an entire stone in rehearsals and if she stays in the competition for a few weeks she's going to look totally different."

'Strictly Come Dancing' live shows begin this Saturday (06.10.12) on BBC One.
