'Eurovision' winner Loreen thinks she won the contest because she was unusual.
The 28-year-old singer was crowned victorious at the contest in Baku, Azerbaijan on Saturday (26.05.12), and she believes it was the minimal performance of her trance track 'Euphoria' and because she looked different.
She told BBC 'Breakfast': "I think people liked my performance because it's not usual for 'Eurovision'. Normally it's maxed, and I had a message.
"Normally you have to look a certain way, but my hair was messy. Sometimes it's good just to narrow it down."
Loreen admits she even swallowed some of the fake snow on while performing her energetic song, but managed to continue on the stage.
She added: "It's all about the focus. There's so many important parts in this performance. I'm standing on the podium, it's one metre high and with all the cameras. I have to put out everything and focus. I swallowed some snow. But it's like that when we create art."
UK entry Engelbert Humperdinck came second to last in the annual contest with his song 'Love Will Set You Free', while Ireland came 19th with Jedward's 'Waterline'.
