Sally Oliver Wants Lexi To Save Marriage

'Emmerdale' star Sally Oliver believes her character Lexi King will do anything to save her marriage.

The actress' alter-ego is left distraught when she is rushed to hospital and, after emergency surgery, told by spouse Carl she has lost their baby. Now the baby has gone, Lexi is worried their relationship might not last but won't give up without a fight.

Trying for a baby is her way of making herself believe everything is okay between them

Sally said:"Lexi doesn't really know what's going through Carl's mind. She just wants to be a mum. Trying for a baby is her way of making herself believe everything is okay between them.

"She has faith in her marriage, and will try anything to make it work. Carl's the love of her life, and she'll do all she can to keep them together."

Meanwhile Carl was never pleased about becoming a father as he didn't think the couple's marriage was strong enough to cope with a baby, but feels guilty about not supporting his wife while she was pregnant. However, losing their child only gives him more doubts.
