Heart Attack Grill diner dies of heart attack

''taste worth dying for''

A diner who went to the Heart Attack Grill every day has died of a heart attack.

Joe Alleman collapsed while waiting at a bus stop in front of the Las Vegas food establishment - which uses the tagline ''taste worth dying for'' - and was taken off life support.

Owner Jon Basso said: ''He never missed a day, even on Christmas. People just loved him. He connected with people in a real way.''

Joe became an unofficial mascot for the Heart Attack Grill, which is known for its gut-busting hamburgers, chips cooked in lard and extra-fat milkshakes.
