Judge postpones trial after man's eye pops out

''unfortunate, unforeseen incident''

A judge had to postpone a trial after a man's eye popped out.

Judge Robert Coleman described it as an ''unfortunate, unforeseen incident'' after John Huttick's false eye suddenly shot out while he was telling the court about losing his left eye in a fight, but fortunately he reacted quickly and caught it.

John - who lost his eye when he wad punched trying to break up the grapple in a car park on a night out - said: ''I couldn't believe it just came out.''

A new trial will now take place in March.
