Win a bespoke party for your child

Commando Joe’s is offering one lucky reader the chance to win a bespoke party for your child worth over £500.

Commando Joe’s will create, prepare and host the party at a suitable location of your choice, and will offer a huge selection of fun activities perfect for primary school level children. With an inflatable obstacle course and a great series of team tasks and games, your son or daughter and their friends will have a party to remember!

Commando Joe’s are a soft military-style educational fitness company headquartered in the North West, providing schools with bespoke activities to help pupils improve their self-confidence, improve attainment and attendance.

It was founded in 2009 by former Commando and British Army personal trainer Mike Hamilton who set the company up in his bedroom before appearing on BBC’s Dragons Den. During his time in the Army recruiting team, Mike gained experience delivering sessions to thousands of young people across the North West. He then went on to lecture in a college for two years, working with a local primary school and all-girls secondary school in his spare time to develop and deliver the military-style concept.

Mike comments: “We’re extremely pleased to be offering this prize to the readers of Female First. Commando Joe’s shares a great many values with this magazine, so we know this summer party is something people can really get on board with. Our motto at Commando Joe’s is “No Child Left Behind,” and that is something that runs through everything we do. Should you win, we’ll make sure it’s the best party your child has ever had!”

Commando Joe’s is even backed by the Government, with Education Secretary Michael Gove so impressed by the initiative that he awarded funding to the scheme to help even more children benefit.

The company has been going from strength to strength ever since. Commando Joe’s has quickly established bases across the North West and continues to grow into new areas. The team of 20 highly trained and experienced instructors continues to grow, and will stand at over 40 Commando Joes and Janes by the end of 2013. Most of them ex-military, they work nationwide to help teachers and young people achieve and raise their attainment in education, attendance, behaviour and self-esteem.
