Mark Wahlberg's new reality TV show Breaking Boston has been pulled from the air after just one episode.
The programme, which followed the lives of four blue collar Boston women, debuted on America's A&E network last week (13Mar14), but it failed to attract enough of an audience and TV executives have since removed it from their broadcasting schedule, citing "underperformance".
The premiere episode had just 311,000 viewers, according to data company Nielsen.
The future of the show was unknown as WENN went to press.
Wahlberg had hoped Breaking Boston would give fans an insight into life in the Massachusetts city, where the actorproducer had also spent his youth.
However, The Fighter star's reality TV prospects aren't all bad - Wahlburgers, a show about his family's burger restaurant chain, got a full season pick-up from A&E bosses last month (Feb14) and its finale aired on Wednesday night (19Mar14).
