Activision has announced 'Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy' will be released early on the Xbox One, PC, and Switch platforms.
The publisher had originally intended to launch the remastered title on July 10, but instead, the company has decided to go with an entirely new date of June 29.
Activision - one of the world's biggest publishing firms in the games industry - made the announcement in a blog post, writing: "'Crash Bandicoot' has been working hard to look good for his debut on new platforms.
"The fan reaction to the news that he's coming to Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam was the extra push needed and now he's ready nearly two weeks early."
Earlier this month, meanwhile, it was announced that 'Call of Duty: Black Ops 4' will "push the envelope of innovation".
Activision Publishing's president Collister 'Coddy' Johnson gave an update on the title as part of the company's latest earnings report, saying the franchise would not be content with simply building on what has come before.
He explained: "This is a game that is not just going to build on our strengths; it will continue to push the envelope in innovation.
"You will see that in the core game itself, where we have a number of new, exciting developments."
