'Assassin's Creed Odyssey' will let player's unlock Evie Fryre as a nod to the franchise.
Gamers will be able to get the character as a lieutenant on their ship - the Adrestia - in a cameo that is sure to keep fans of the series happy.
Evie - who appeared in 'Assassin' Creed Syndicate' - gives a bonus to javelin and fire javelin damage, and damage boost when you have low health.
As noted by Reddit user JorRaptor, she can be unlocked in the Ubisoft Club through the 'Master Assassin' Challenge, which is gained by reaching 7,500 XP in all 'Assassin's Creed' games.
Gamespot reports that this will essentially reward gamers for playing a prior title, suggesting it will likely be unlocked from the start.
Meanwhile the game will make further references to the history of the series with a number of rewards.
These will include both Medjay and Assassins skins for your ship crew, while there will also be the usual boosts such as crafting items, XP and various weapons.
