'Assassin's Creed Odyssey' is set to get a New Game Plus mode this month.
The action role-playing video game was released in October last year, and it has now been confirmed that a New Game Plus mode - which is a mode often added to games in which players can play through the game again upon completion with many of the game's features already unlocked - will be coming to the title before the end of the month.
In a tweet from the game's official Twitter account, developers played on the popular "today's tea" meme - in which a comment is written inside what appears to be a teacup - with the words "New Game+ is coming this month".
When one fan asked what would be included in the new mode, such as the ability to change characters or the implementation of extra rewards, the developers replied: "We'll share more details next week."
Typically, New Game Plus modes often feature the ability to start the story from the beginning in the same state a player ended their first play through, with perks like increased health, better weapons, and sometimes stronger enemies to help level up faster.
The addition of the new mode comes as a remastered edition of 'Assassin's Creed III' is set to launch for Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC on March 29.
The game includes a remastered version of 'Assassin's Creed: Liberation HD' as well, and comes with all the DLC for both - such as the three-part 'Tyranny of King' Washington expansion.
Meanwhile, the third and final episode of the first major story expansion for 'Assassin's Creed Odyssey', titled 'The First Blade', is also scheduled to release in the coming months.
