Microsoft has given Xbox gamers a hint of what to expect from its live presentation on November 10-11 in Mexico City, and the company has named three games which are set to feature in the show.

A tweet from the official Xbox account confirmed there will be "big" news for the battle royale title, while everyone can also expect new updates to 'State of Decay 2'.

The event also looks set to act as a pre-release launch for 'Shadow of the Tomb Raider' upcoming expansion 'The Forge'.

X018 has been hailed as a "global celebration of all things Xbox", and it will feature the "largest live Inside Xbox episode ever".

Earlier this year, Microsoft confirmed its commitment to the future of the Xbox.

The company's Executive President of Gaming Phil Spencer previously teased more consoles, and explained: "Anybody who might worry about our console future, I just wanted to put that at ease.

"I wanted people to know that I love the track record of our hardware team ... we have some ideas in the future [about streaming] but it's not tomorrow.

"I didn't want people to think we were going to walk away from that part of the brand in the business because it's really important to us."
