Capcom has announced the 'Capcom Beat 'Em Up Bundle' to pay tribute to the classic era of side-scrolling arcade co-ops games.
The upcoming new collection of seven games - including two which have never been ported before - will be released on September 18 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and Steam.
Included in the bundle will be 1989's 'Final Fight', 1991 releases 'The King of Dragons', 'Captain Commando' and 'Knights of the Round', and 1992 title 'Warriors of Fate'.
While gamers may remember them from both arcades or previous console releases, 'Armored Warriors' (1994) and 'Battle Circuit' (1997) have previously only been available to play in arcades.
In a press release, Camcom said: "All of these titles exemplify some of the best side-scrolling games of the arcade era, and introduced players to iconic Capcom characters such as Captain Commando, plus Cody, Guy and Mike Haggar from 'Final Fight.' "
The company noted that co-op gaming was always a huge part of the arcade beat 'em up experience, and the team has ensured the new collection retains that with both drop-in local and online multiplayer modes, while there will be a range of customisable options such as number of lives, continues and difficulty.
Meanwhile, there will also be added features to delve further into the history and legacy of the beloved games, with comprehensive galleries for each one.
Each time warp will include stunning artwork, development documents, design sketches, and archives of the original game sleeves and instruction cards.
There will also be special artwork which was only made available to fan club members at the time of the original releases.
