'Elder Scrolls Online' will give the fans what they want.
The creative director Rich Lambert has promised that the game's Elsweyr update - which is released in June - will show how much the team has spent "reflecting" on their fans' wishes.
Lambert told GameSpot: "Elsweyr been one of the most requested places from our fans; it's the homeland of the Khajit. There's bits and pieces of the land in other DLCs, such as Reaper's March and Khenarthi's Roost, but those are really on the outer edges of the province. So we're really going into the heartland, showing what Khajit culture is, and how they've evolved over the ages ...
"We spent a lot of time reflecting on what the fans wanted, in trying to bring that Elder Scrolls feel into the game. That's where One Tamriel came from, Thieves Guild, the Dark Brotherhood, and that's where the Justice System came out as well. It really changed the feel of ESO, and players have enjoyed it since. The game has never been stronger, which is awesome."
Exciting new features were unveiled live on Twitch on Tuesday evening (15.01.19) and included the addition of dragons as well as a yearlong story, which promises fans an "epic Elder Scrolls tale tying all four 2019 updates into one massive adventure fans won't want to miss".
The 'Elder Scrolls Online: Elsweyr' - which will feature the huge new zone of Elsweyr, home of the Khajiit, and a new class, the Necromancer - will release for PC/Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on June 4.
