The upcoming tactical role-playing game is set to be released worldwide for the Nintendo Switch on July 26, and it has now been revealed that there's already an expansion pass in place for players to buy alongside the full game, which will give players access to even more 'Fire Emblem' content.

According to a tweet from Nintendo of America, the pass includes access to four separate waves of content released between July 26 and April 2020.

The tweet read: "Get access to all four waves of DLC as they release, including the Officers Academy outfits for Byleth on Day 1. When your journey continues with the #FireEmblem: Three Houses - Expansion Pass!"

Although not all the content included in the pass has been revealed as of the time of writing, GamesRadar notes that previous games in the 'Fire Emblem' franchise have had similar passes which have included new maps, new characters, and new side quests.

'Fire Emblem: Three Houses' is available to pre-download on the Nintendo eShop for $59.99, while the version with the pass is priced at $84.98.

Another tweet from Nintendo of America confirmed: "#FireEmblem: Three Houses and the Fire Emblem: Three Houses + Expansion Pass bundle are now available for pre-purchase on #NintendoSwitch #eShop! https://fireemblem.nintendo.com/three-houses/ (sic)"
