'LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga' will be released in 2020.
Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has teamed up with LEGO, Lucasfilm and TT Games for the exciting new title which will span all nine main films in the franchise to date, including upcoming movie 'The Rise of Skywalker'.
The game will let players delve into a galaxy far, far away with freedom to control hundreds of characters and vehicles for a unique journey.
Tom Stone, Managing Director for TT Games, said: "'LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga' marks our return to the franchise that kicked off the LEGO video game series.
"The game will give fans an all-new LEGO Star Wars experience with complete freedom to explore the LEGO Star Wars galaxy.
"It was an absolute pleasure to be part of the launch of the original 'LEGO Star Wars' game and it's equally exciting to now move the series forward and help create a new era of 'LEGO Star Wars' games."
The original title - based on the prequel trilogy of 'The Phantom Menace', 'Attack of the Clones' and 'Revenge of the Sith' - was released in 2005, and the upcoming collection is aimed at giving fans the "ultimate" experience with the games series' trademark charm.
Douglas Reilly, Vice President at Lucasfilm Games, added: "With the Skywalker saga coming to an end, we wanted to give fans the ultimate 'Star Wars' video game experience with all the humour and charm that is uniquely LEGO.
