'Marvel's Spider-Man' is set to get a New Game Plus mode.
Insomniac, the developers of the new superhero video game for PlayStation 4, have announced their title is set to implement the new mode for players who have already completed the game once, to allow them to start the game again with all the abilities and skills they unlocked in a previous save.
When asked on Twitter if there would be a "NG+" for 'Spider-Man', Insomniac Games replied: "yes working on it now and polishing it up! (sic)"
Although the details of the new mode haven't been confirmed, many games which implement this feature also bump up the health and damage output of the enemies throughout the new mode's gameplay.
Currently, Insomniac doesn't have a release date for the New Game Plus mode, but it comes just days after it was revealed that three new DLC packs for the game would be released across the next three months.
Titled 'The City That Never Sleeps', the DLC packs will release in three parts, with the first part - subtitled 'The Heist' - coming on October 23.
Each part of the series focuses on a different character from the titular hero's circle of friends and foes, and it was announced last week that 'The Heist' would be focused on one of Spider-Man's former flames, Felicia Hardy - also known as Black Cat.
