Assassin's Creed 2020 will reportedly involve Vikings.
According to Kotaku.com, sources have stated that the next game in the franchise, which is due out next year, will be themed on the seafaring Scandinavians.
It's not the first teaser for the theme, as an in-game poster for Tom Clancy's 'The Division 2' featured an image of a Norse god and the word Valhalla.
Assassin's Creed's break in 2019 comes after they did exactly that in 2015.
The move certainly paid off as 2016's 'Assassin's Creed Origins' doubled in sales compared to its predecessor 'Assassin's Creed Syndicate'.
Within the first 10 days of its release, 'Origins' had sold double the units that 'Syndicate' did in the same time frame two years ago.
Ubisoft believed the year break was largely responsible for getting interest back in the franchise after entering an earnings slump in previous years.
