The game creators have unveiled a Pink Mercy skin, which costs $15, with 100 per cent of the proceeds from the sales going to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. The skin will be available to purchase until May 21.

They will also be releasing a limited edition Pink Mercy t-shirt, which is priced at $30, and Blizzard Entertainment has guaranteed a minimum donation to Breast Cancer Research Foundation of $250,000.

Meanwhile, it was recently revealed that 'Overwatch' has been played by more than 35 million gamers since its launch in May 2016.

The team-based multiplayer title has proven to be a major success across different platforms, including the PS4 and Xbox One.

The news of 'Overwatch's landmark achievement was confirmed on Twitter, although the developer did not detail how the figures break down.

Despite being launched more than a year ago, the title continues to be popular among gamers, with 'Overwatch' having passed the 20 million figure by November 2016 and the 30 million mark by the end of April.
