PlayStation has announced a new date for its recently-postponed games event will be confirmed "soon".
The firm had originally planned to host the 'Future Of Gaming' event on June 4, but decided to postpone it in light of the race riots in the US and the death of George Floyd.
PlayStation had now said: "This event has been postponed. We'll be in touch with a new date soon."
However, at the moment, the company hasn't given any indication when the event is likely to be staged.
PlayStation confirmed it was postponing the much-anticipated 'Future Of Gaming' earlier this week.
A post on the official PlayStation Twitter page read: "We have decided to postpone the PlayStation 5 event scheduled for June 4.
"While we understand gamers worldwide are excited to see PS5 games, we do not feel that right now is a time for celebration and for now, we want to stand back and allow more important voices to be heard. (sic)"
Since Floyd's death, anti-racism protests have been staged in various countries around the world.
