The highly anticipated Wild West adventure game has earned the strongest second week UK physical sales of any title in 2018, including 'FIFA 19'.

As reported by Eurogamer, the sequel - which landed the second-highest UK physical launch of the year last week - has topped the rankings for this week.

It finds itself ahead of 'Call of Duty: Black Ops 4' and 'FIFA 19' in second and third place respectively, while the Switch launch of 'Lego Harry Potter' gave the game boost into eighth.

Meanwhile, the latest update comes after it was revealed studio Rockstar had threatened legal action against UK website Trusted Reviews over an article earlier this year revealing information taken from development notes.

The piece was later replaced with an apology from the site, which read: "On February 6, 2018, we published an article that was sourced from a confidential corporate document.

"We should have known this information was confidential and should not have published it.

"We unreservedly apologise to Take-Two Games and we have undertaken not to repeat such actions again. We have also agreed to donate over £1 million to charities chosen by Take-Two Games."
