'Sea of Thieves' has addressed the endless killing respawn cycles in the latest update.
The Xbox One and PC title has received an update after studio Rare promised a few tweaks and changes to make the gaming experience much smoother sailing for players.
One of the new features is the 'message from beyond', which will be included as a message nailed to the door post on the Ferry of the Damned.
The note from the Ferryman reads: "This is a reminder to players that if their ship and/or crew is in a position they want to get out of, simply going to "My Crew" in the settings page and voting to "Scuttle Ship" will sink the ship and start the crew in a new location."
As well as fixes to performance issues, the studio has also looked at what weapons gamers are choosing most frequently, and the damage dealt by them, in order to make some balancing changes to the game.
It means that the Blunderbuss - which can cause a lot of damage close range - has been given a reduction, while the Eye of Reach has been given an increase.
Rare will continue to monitor stats as time goes on, and the studio will keep tweaking it further if it needs to.
