The director of 'Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order' Stig Amussen is "super-confident" in the game.
The hotly-anticipated action adventure title by Respawn Entertainment and EA is due to be released on November 15, 2019, and will be available for the Xbox One, PS4, while the PC version will be available via EA Origin.
The publishers EA predicted that they expect the title to shift around eight million units and Stig certainly appears to back up the comments has he expressed his excitement for the "really fun" game.
He told PlayStation Magazine: "To say we're a mash-up crew is an understatement, but everybody has a really high pedigree.
"When I come into work every day and I feel the vibe and I feel the energy in the studio and I actually get my hands on the controller and I see that we're making something that's really, really fun it makes me feel great, it lets me know we're on the right track, and let me tell you I'm super-confident we're onto something."
Cameron Monaghan is set to play the main character.
The 25-year-old actor - who is best known for his roles in TV series 'Shamless' and 'Gotham' - has been brought to life digitally and is set to star as Jedi Padawan, Cal Kestis, who escaped Order 66 and is now on the run in the much-anticipated video game, which is set between the events of the 'Revenge of the Sith' and 'A New Hope' movies.
In a recent financial report from EA, the COO and CFO Blake Jorgensen said: "Looking forward, we're delighted to launch 'Anthem', our new IP, to grow 'Apex Legends' and related 'Titanfall' experiences, to deliver new 'Plants vs. Zombies' and 'Need for Speed' titles, and to add 'Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order' to our sports titles in the fall."
Currently, no other plot details or gameplay mechanics have been confirmed, however gamers will be able to wield a lightsaber.
