'Tekken 7' is adding 'The Walking Dead' favourite Negan as a playable character.
Negan - who is played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan in the popular TV adaptation of the comic book - and his trusty barbed wire baseball bat Lucille have been announced for the game's Season 2 of content.
The exciting news was revealed on Sunday (05.08.18) at the fighting game tourtnament Evo in Las Vegas, Nervana, with returning characters Anna Williams and Lei Wulong also confirmed.
Negan's appearance may come as a surprise for gamers after the 'Tekken' series producer Katsuhiro Harada previously played down the possibility of him making it into the game.
When a fan suggested him as a potential addition, he responded on Twitter and said: "With 'Lucille'? Haha nice idea. He is a historic villain, but he is too weak as a fighter. IMO (sic)"
While pricing for the latest pack hasn't been confirmed yet, it's expected that gamers will be able to purchase Negan and the other new characters separately or as part of the collection.
In season one's set ofDLC, crossover characters included 'Fatal Fury' fighter Geese Howard, and 'Final Fantasy XV' protagonist Noctis Lucis Caelum.
