'Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order' has added Miles Morales and Spider-Gwen from 'Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse'.
The two new superheroes join a host of playable characters in the upcoming action role-playing game in development at Team Ninja for Nintendo Switch.
They join Hawkeye and Ms. Marvel who were previously confirmed.
Although there has been more than one Hawkeye in the Marvel comics, Nintendo and Team Ninja are set to use the original, Clint Barton, in 'Ultimate Alliance 3', who will fight using his collection of trick arrows.
Ms. Marvel, however, is set to take a more recent approach within the video game.
The character's every day alter ego is Kamala Khan, who took on the Ms. Marvel mantle after Carol Danvers became Captain Marvel.
Kamala is an Inhuman who can enlarge any part of her body - which is a superpower she calls "embiggening" - to aid her in fights, such as her fists or feet.
In a previous gameplay preview, it didn't look as though Kamala can completely enlarge herself while fighting like she can in the comics, but her combos do take advantage of her ability to stretch out her limbs and expand her hands and feet.
'Ultimate Alliance 3' is set to launch exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on July 19, and takes elements of its story from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), especially 'Avengers: Infinity War' and 'Avengers: Endgame'.
The game sees the ultimate alliance of heroes - including the Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, X-Men, Defenders, and Inhumans - come together to take down Thanos and his Black Order.
