Warner Bros. has released the trailer for 'Mortal Kombat 11'.
The trailer for the eagerly awaited video game sets the stage for an epic adventure, while the title is also set to feature an original music track by 21 Savage, the multi-platinum selling rap star.
Savage's track, titled 'Immortal', overlays scenes of a battle between Dark Raiden and Scorpion, two of the game's most iconic characters.
David Haddad, the President of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, explained that the game will give players "more creative control".
He continued: "This game showcases NetherRealm Studios' extensive talent to innovate and create epic experiences for the Mortal Kombat fans and new players alike."
And Ed Boon, the Creative Director of NetherRealm Studios, revealed he was pleased to be able to showcase some of what his team has been working on.
He said: "It's exciting to finally announce 'Mortal Kombat 11' and showcase what the team has been working on.
"Our Custom Character Variation System opens up an infinite amount of options for players to personalise their favourite fighters. We can't wait until January when we'll be showing more of the game."
