All week we will be reviewing the best lifestyle mobile apps as part of National App Week - a week celebrating an industry in which Britain’s considered the world’s best, the app development industry.
Here, Michael Banks of Corporate Group takes us through the @Mirror app.
What does it do?
This app allows you to turn your phone into a mirror by switching on a digital mirror on the screen of your phone at the touch of a button. The digital mirror can be used to take pictures, or to zoom in to areas you wish to get a closer look at.
What’s good about it?
The @Mirror app is a novel idea that allows you to carry a mirror around digitally without the inconvenience of carrying a mirror around physically.
For the safety conscious, there is no fear of broken glass in your handbag.
This app is much more than a mirror though. It has great picture quality, allows a zoom function up to x4, has a night mode, and allows images to be shared via social media.
It also has a picture edit function and a rotatable interface, so if you want to take pictures of yourself this app makes a fair easier alternative to posing in front of the mirror. Celebrity sex photos may never be the same again.
What’s bad about it?
There’s absolutely nothing worth mentioning that’s bad about this app.
@Mirror is available for free on Android, iPhone 4, 4S and 5, iPod Touch and iPad including iPad mini. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/mirror/id431471943?mt=8
