Jessica Chastain will not bee starring in Iron Man 3.
It was revealed last week that the Oscar nominated actress was in talks for the third instalment of the hit Marvel franchise but she will unable to work on the movie because of scheduling conflicts.
Writing on her Facebook the actress said: "Sorry to say that Iron Man 3 isn't going to work out. My schedule is jammed packed and I can't fit anything else in.
"The press announced my possible attachment far too soon. I know many of you wanted me to be involved, and I'm so sorry to disappoint you."
The movie will see Robert Downey Jr return to the role of Tony Stark while Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle will also be back.
However Jon Favreau will not be in the director's chair this time around and Shane Black will be at the helm.
