Joseph Gordon Levitt will not be playing Batman in the Justice League movie.
It was rumoured earlier this week that Levitt, who starred in The Dark Knight Rises earlier this summer, would be taking over the role of Bruce Wayne as a whole host of DC Comic characters are set to come together for the movie.
However the actor's representatives have called the story 'entirely false', according to Entertainment Weekly.
Levitt tool on the role of John Blake in the final Batman movie directed by Christopher Nolan - he character revealing who he really is at the end of the movie.
It has been a very busy and successful year for Levitt as he has also starred in Premium Rush and the critically acclaimed Looper.
He will be back on the big screen in the new year as he takes on the role of Robert Lincoln in Steven Spielberg's bio-pic Lincoln.
As for the Justice League movie it is not clear which character or actors will yet be involved in the movie.
