Lily Collins wants to direct a movie.
The 'Mirror, Mirror' actress is "fascinated" by the movie making process and would love to take her career behind the camera one day.
She said: "I would love to write. I started writing a screenplay recently because I love writing for newspapers and magazines and I always considered that so different to a screenplay but the true essence of a story can be told in so many different forms. So I'd definitely love to write something one day.
"And I love every angle and part of the business, whether it's in front of or behind the camera. I'm always asking the crew questions because it's fascinating to me and I would love to direct."
Lily also admitted her acting ambitions are "all over the place" because there are so many genres she wants to try out in order to avoid being typecast.
She told Moviehole: "I loved the comedic undertone in 'Mirror, Mirror'. This is all so new to me but I'd love a sweeping British drama period piece, a dark, disturbing and raw role and a comedy. I mean, it's all over the place for me.
"I don't want to be pigeon holed. I'd like to be able to try all sorts of things and find new bits about myself in the characters."
