Rebecca Hall has talked about working with director Shane Black on Iron Man 3.
Hall is one of the new faces on the cast list for the third instalment of the popular franchise as she takes on the role of scientist Maya Hansen.
And Black is also new to the series as he takes over the director's chair from Jon Favreau - and Hall enjoyed her time on set with him.
Speaking to IGN the actress said: "[Shane] has got a really wonderful understanding of pulp.
"Of kind of that mainstream commercial movie, and also he has a great wit and intelligence, which adds a lot of spice to whatever he does.
"And it's sort of black,,, not to use an unfortunate [pun]!"
James Badge Dale, Ben Kingsley and Guy Pearce are also playing new characters while Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow and Don Cheadle will all be back.
Iron Man 3 is released 26th April.
