Rosamund Pike has described working on Clash of the Titans 2 as 'crazy chaos'.
The British actress takes over the role of Andromeda in the movie, which sees Sam Worthington reprise the role of Perseus.
And Pike admits that the movie was an exciting one to be on simply because of all the elements that were going on on set.
Speaking to Digital Spy the actress said: "You'd have these immense sets and the CGI green screen elements, but a lot of it was built as well, which is much better for the imagination. We're in the Underworld and it was like walking into chaos.
"We'd have huge wind machines, rivers of fire, columns of fire being dropped 20 feet down, boulders being thrown at us made of polystyrene.
"We'd have to run through all this mess and it was like being in a maelstrom. It's exciting, it's a kind of crazy chaos."
Worthington is not the only character to return in the movie as Liam Neeson and Ralph Fiennes also return as Zeus and Hades.
But Pike is back on the big screen this week with Johnny English Reborn before going onto The Big Year.
The Wrath of the Titans is released 30th March 2012.
