All year we have been given little teasers for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 to get us excited about the film... and now the brand new full length trailer has arrived.
Mockingjay Part 2 was already one of the 2015 movies that I was looking forward to the most, having been a huge fan of the books and the film franchise so far. I have to say, the brand new trailer really does deliver and I cannot wait to see the epic conclusion later this year.
Is the film going to stick to the book? Are we going to see certain characters meet their doom? I guess we are just going to have to wait and see. Check out the new trailer:
I don't know about you, but I will be sad to see The Hunger Games end in November as the film series have been terrific adaptations of wonderful books. Not only that, but Jennifer Lawrence has been great as Katniss Everdeen - it is the role that has made her a global superstar.
For one last time we are going to see Lawrence star alongside Liam Hemsworth, Josh Hutcherson, Sam Claflin, Donald Sutherland, Woody Harrelson, and Elizabeth Banks, while we will get a closer look at the likes of Natalie Dormer and Julianne Moore as Cressida and President Coin.
Despite this late stage in the franchise, there is a big new addition to the cast list to look over for as Gwendoline Christie (best known as Brienne in Game of Thrones) will make her first appearance as Commander Lyme.
With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends - including Gale (Hemsworth), Finnick (Claflin), and Peeta (Hutcherson) - Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt on President Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her.
The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 is released 19th November.
