Bruce Springsteen, Paul McCatney, Billy Joel and The Who are set to share the stage for a Hurricane Sandy benefit concert in New York on 12-12-12.
Fellow rock legends Roger Waters and Jon Bon Jovi will be joined by rapper Kanye West and R&B singer Alicia Keys for the superstar show, which will raise money for the Robin Hood Relief Fund - an organisation set up to provide aid and assistance to those affected by the superstorm, which wreaked havoc across America's East Coast late last month.
12.12.12 The Concert For Sandy Relief will take place at the fabled Madison Square Garden on 12 December (12).
Further artists are expected to be added to the bill in the coming weeks.
It's the latest benefit show to boost funds for the Sandy relief effort - Madonna raised $60,000 (£37,500) for the cause by encouraging fans at her gigs in the Big Apple this week to donate, while Chris Cornell staged a charity concert in Manhattan with his Soundgarden bandmates on Monday and the Dave Matthews Band plans to turn the first stop of its upcoming winter tour into a fundraiser too.
