I'm very disappointed by this and hope to be able to visit soon
SIR PAUL McCARTNEY has apologised to fans in South Korea after illness forced him to pull out of his first ever gig in the country.
The veteran British rocker has been battling a mystery virus for the past week, prompting him to axe his entire Japanese tour, and now he has cancelled an upcoming show in Seoul, South Korea on 28 May (14) because he is still too ill to perform.
He says, "I was really looking forward to visiting and playing in South Korea for the first time and I'm sorry to be letting fans down. "I'm very disappointed by this and hope to be able to visit soon". A statement issued by his representative adds, "Paul is still not feeling better and this cancellation is unavoidable". McCartney is still scheduled to return to North America next month (Jun14) for a run of Out There tour dates, which are scheduled to begin in Texas on 14 June (14).
